Dozens of Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts will first enjoy the University of Nevada, Reno football game vs. Wyoming on Saturday evening, Oct. 22 – and then they will spend overnight camping out on the Wolf Pack field. It is all part of the kickoff for Good Scout Week, presented by the Nevada Area Council of Boy Scouts of America.
Prior to the 7:30 p.m. kickoff between the two Mountain West foes, Nevada Area Council also is hosting a Tailgate for Eagle Scouts whether or not each earned his Eagle in Northern Nevada or elsewhere.
Also on hand at the game will be the 2016 Good Scout, Mike Wurm, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of the Truckee Meadows.
