The northern panel of the Nevada Supreme Court will visit Edward C. Reed High School in Sparks on March 16. The panel is composed of Justices James W. Hardesty, Ron D. Parraguirre, and Lidia S. Stiglich. The event is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.

The justices cannot answer questions about the cases because of ethical rules. However, students will be encouraged to ask questions of the justices and attorneys about the process, the Supreme Court, and the justices themselves.
Written decisions about each case eventually will be filed with the Court Clerk and found on the Supreme Court website.
The Supreme Court has made it a relatively common occurrence to hold oral arguments around Nevada as part of its educational and outreach efforts. All Supreme Court arguments are public hearings open to all interested citizens.
