Reed has now won all five High Desert League tournaments of the year.
The Raiders, who clinched the league title last week, won Tuesday’s tournament at Red Hawk (Hills Course) with a team score of 426—just five strokes better than runner-up McQueen.
Reno carded a 440 to finish third in front of host Spanish Springs (464) and North Valleys (543). Hug did not have enough golfers to turn in a team score.
Jayce Robinson (Reed) fired a 78 to earn medalist honors for the second time this season. He also shot a 75 in the season’s first tournament at Somersett.
Nathan Daylo (81), Brandon Forman (87), Jimmy Harris (89) and Andrew Emerson (91) made up the Rest of Reed’s scorecard.
Spanish Springs’ fourth-place finish consisted of efforts from Nick Frankoski (90), Chase Martin (91), Payne Avera (93), Pat Penrod (94) and Logan Cox (96).
The HDL tournament circuit concludes next Wednesday at Wildcreek.
