-OF Jason Bourgeois, 34, was traded to the Chicago White Sox for cash. He has started the with the club’s Triple-A team in Charlotte. Bourgeois was having a strong season with the Aces, batting a team high .356 (37-for-104) with five doubles and nine RBIs.
Who’s hot?
-RHP Archie Bradley. Bradley struck out nine over eight scoreless innings in Saturday’s 3-1 home win over Omaha. He now leads the Pacific Coast League with 47 strikeouts, and that’s while missing a pair of starts for the Aces because he’s made two fill-in starts for the Diamondbacks. He’s also second in the PCL in ERA (1.99) and wins (5). Bradley was named the PCL Pitcher of the Week on Monday. He is the third Aces player this season to take home a weekly PCL honor.
Who’s not?
-Sunday streaking. The Aces were 5-0 on Sundays, outscoring their opponents 36-16, before falling 3-1 at home to Omaha on Sunday.
