Jesus Partida, Sparks boys soccer
The Sparks senior had a bounce-back season to remember and he couldn’t have written a better way to end it. After missing last season with a knee injury, Partida scored a team-high 32 goals this fall, including the game winner in Saturday’s 3A state championship game victory over Western in Las Vegas. Partida assisted the other goal in the 2-0 win.
The Scheels Athlete of the Week is announced every Tuesday morning throughout the athletic calendar. The winner receives a $50 gift card to Scheels.
