Cameron Emerson, Reed football
Reed’s junior quarterback was a force in Friday’s 4A North title game against Damonte Ranch at McQueen. Emerson accounted for five touchdowns and outgained the Mustangs by himself, 446-442. Unfortunately for him, and his teammates, the monster performance came in a losing effort. The Raiders’ run of five straight regional titles ended, 49-45.
