
The Cougars finished third in the High Desert League, but put the second most players on all-HDL teams.
The nine total players were one more than McQueen and three more than Reed.
Reno led the league with 11 all-league selections, which tied with Carson, the Sierra League champ, for most in the 4A North.
For the Cougs, Yalison Espinosa was a first-team midfielder and Camryn O’Niel was a first-team defender. Carly Moreland (midfield), Madison Escolar (midfield), Jessica Burkhard (defender) and Jaycee Grider (keeper) were voted to the second team. Kendall Kingery (forward), Ashley Pittard (midfield) and Taylor Gunther (defender) received honorable mention.
For the Raiders, Hannah Anderson was named the Offensive Player of the Year. Forward Taylor Anderson was a first-team selection. Mikayla Farrow (forward) and Sydnee McGrath (midfield) were named to the second team. Ashlee Saville (midfield) and Lauryn Shipp (defender) received honorable mention.
