Marcus Loadholt, Spanish Springs boys basketball
The reigning High Desert League Player of the Year started his senior season with a bang, scoring 30 points in a 77-66 win over St. Mary’s (Stockton, Calif.) in the first round of the Wild West Shootout at Bishop Manogue. Loadholt followed with a 29-point effort the following night in a loss to the host Miners.
