The Raiders’ losing streak reached six games on Monday night with an 83-48 loss at Bishop Manogue.
Reed dropped to 1-6, 1-3 in the 4A North with the defeat. The game was rescheduled to Monday from earlier in the season due the Raiders’ typically deep postseason football run, limiting the number of available players.
Bishop Manogue improved to 7-3, 4-0 on the strength of a 9-of-17 (53 percent) shooting night from deep.
Jeremy Ramos scored 11 points to lead the Raiders. Lincoln Turner finished with 10. Matt Williams chipped in eight.
Brevon Bansuelo was 5-of-8 from behind the arc and scored a game-high 25 points for the Miners.
Reed hung around early, only trailing 22-14 after one quarter, but the gap ballooned to 44-24 at the half.
The Raiders play a non-league game at Lowry (0-7) on Tuesday night. They’ll then take the next two weeks off for the holidays before returning to 4A North play on Jan. 3 at Wooster (0-8, 0-4).
