Reed races past Truckee, 69-15
The Raiders did not have any trouble in Monday’s home non-conference tournament game against Truckee, rolling to a 69-15 win.
Reed improved to 5-2, 3-1 with the victory in the first game of a holiday tournament hosted by Reed and McQueen. The Wolverines, who play in the 3A North, dropped to 4-5.
Tournament play continues Tuesday.

Sparks falls to Lovelock
Sparks was unable to win back-to-back games for the first time this season, dropping a 47-43 home non-league tournament game to Lovelock on Monday.
The Railroaders (1-8, 0-3) trailed 37-26 entering the fourth quarter, but couldn’t complete the comeback. The Mustangs remained unbeaten at 12-0.
Sparks will host Lassen on Tuesday morning. It will be the second meeting between the two teams in a week. The Railroaders picked up their only win of the season last Tuesday at home against the Grizzlies (4-6), 65-60.
