Boys: Railroaders fall in OT at Dayton
Sparks was outscored 6-4 in overtime at Dayton on Wednesday night and suffered a 48-46 loss to the Dust Devils.
The Railroaders tumbled to 1-12, 0-4 in the 3A North with the tough loss. Dayton improved to 2-7, 1-3.
Matt Longland and Mathew Garcia both scored 11 points in the overtime defeat. Carlos Rodriguez had nine.
The Railroaders remain on the road Friday, going to Lowry.
Girls: Sparks remains winless
The Railroaders dipped to 0-4, 0-4 in the 3A North with a 43-21 loss at Dayton on Wednesday afternoon.
It was the Dust Devils’ second win of the season. They improved to 2-11, 1-3.
Sparks goes to Lowry on Friday.

Sparks athletics is a JOKE! They should do themselves & the kids a favor and move to 2A.
The only sport that’s any good is boys soccer and they should move up to 4A. Maybe boys soccer would have some competition.
The rest of the teams are a joke. Move where you can compete.
