The Nevada Wolf Pack will be holding its second annual Arch Madness event on Oct. 14, featuring the Wolf Pack men’s and women’s basketball teams. The showcase, set to take place prior to the March from the Arch homecoming parade, will get underway at 6 p.m. on ReTRAC Plaza between Whitney Peak and the Silver Legacy. The event is scheduled to end at 7:45 p.m. prior to the parade.
The Wolf Pack women under the direction of first-year head coach Amanda Levens will host a clinic starting at 6 p.m. for children middle school and under.
The Pack men and women will be introduced following the clinic at 6:45 p.m. This will be an opportunity to hear head men’s basketball coach Eric Musselman and coach Levens speak about the upcoming 2017-18 season.
A three-point shooting competition will follow capped off with a dunk contest.
The event will also feature music and an announcer. The Wolf Pack band and cheer will also be in attendance.
Nevada’s homecoming week is set for Oct. 14-20. In addition to Arch Madness, the March from the Arch homecoming parade and pep rally will take place on Virginia Street and the campus quad. Coach Musselman will help lead the parade up to the quad where he will start the festivities.
