Spanish Springs picked up a big 3-0 win on the road at Reed on Saturday and now sit in first by two games over North Valleys.
Anibal Gonzales, Christian Camacho, and Wilmer Hernandez all reached the back of the net in the win over their crosstown rivals.
Spanish Springs (9-3-2, 3-1-1) plays McQueen today at home, while Reed (6-8, 2-3) will host North Valleys.
Sparks
Sparks picked up two big wins over the weekend and won its fifth straight in the process.
The Railroaders beat Elko 2-1 at home on Friday before knocking off Spring Creek at home the following day.
The boys now sit in second place at 11-3-1 overall and 8-1-1 in conference.
They will travel to Truckee today and will host South Tahoe Friday.
