Longtime Reed girls basketball coach Sara Schopper-Ramirez announced last week she is stepping down after 14 seasons with the Raiders. Schopper-Ramirez was at the helm when the Raiders won their last state title in 2012 and has led the team to numerous appearances in the state tournament. She will coach her last home game Friday night when Reed takes on rival Spanish Springs at 5:15 p.m.
