Road crews began the installation of an 18-inch steel natural gas main last week on Sparks Boulevard as part of a project that is expected to last 12 weeks. Several traffic detours are in place Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., including the closure of the southbound inside lane of Sparks Boulevard from south of Baring Boulevard to north of Prater Way.
