Nevada redshirt freshman Carson Strong drops back to throw during the team’s first scrimmage Saturday at Mackay Stadium. Strong has taken the majority of reps at quarterback in practice since the Wolf Pack lost Cristian Solano to a hand injury, and threw for three touchdowns and zero interceptions on Saturday. The Pack has one more scrimmage on Friday before preparing for its season-opener against Purdue on Aug. 30.
