
On 5-21-2025, Officers responded to a Sparks residence for a reported Domestic disturbance in which the suspect kicked in the front door.
It was learned the suspect was 43-year-old Sparks resident Michael Meadows.
As an officer was responding to the area, they located Meadows and attempted to stop him. Meadows fled from officers at a high rate of speed. Due to the danger posed to the community, officers discontinued the pursuit. As Meadows fled from officers, he struck a citizen’s vehicle at the intersection of Vista Blvd and Los Altos Pkwy and did not stop.
Officers attempted to located Meadows for several days but were unable to locate him.
On 5-26-2025, an officer located a vehicle associated to Meadows in the area of Vista Blvd and S. D’Andrea Parkway. Officers conducted surveillance on the vehicle and followed it to the area of Vintage Hills Parkway and Libero Drive. An officer observed Meadows entering the vehicle. Officers conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle and Meadows was arrested without incident.
Meadows was booked on the following charges:
- Felony Home invasion constituting Domestic Violence
- Felony disobey peace officer endangering others
- Misdemeanor Duty to stop at accident with attended vehicle
- Misdemeanor Fail to give information to party at vehicle accident
