Mayor’s Cup staying in Spanish Springs
After losing the Mayor’s Cup the first three years of its existence, Spanish Springs has now won it back-to-back years. The Cougars won this year’s competition with the Raiders, 274-229. Reed boys fifth at state meet, Sparks’ Van Patten wins 300m hurdles title
The Reed boys track team took fifth in the DI state track meet at Carson on Saturday. The Raiders (56 points) were second among all DI North teams, seven points behind fourth-place McQueen.
