Nevada had reason for optimism after recovering a fumble late in the second quarter and pulling within 21-13 at halftime against Arizona with a field goal as time expired. As anticipated, Nevada moved to 1-0 this season with a 31-17 home win over UC Davis last Thursday. The offense looked sharp under the direction of new starter, junior quarterback Tyler Stewart.
