It gets easier this week. Kind of. After playing top-20 teams in back-to-back weeks, Nevada travels to western New York to square off with Buffalo (2-1) of the Mid-American Conference. Nevada had reason for optimism after recovering a fumble late in the second quarter and pulling within 21-13 at halftime against Arizona with a field goal as time expired. As anticipated, Nevada moved to 1-0 this season with a 31-17 home win over UC Davis last Thursday. The offense looked sharp under the direction of new starter, junior quarterback Tyler Stewart.
