Taking it right down to the wire, Sparks held its own with Western of Las Vegas in the boys 3A state soccer semifinals Nov. 9. The Railroaders did what they do best Friday night, and that’s run the football. For the second straight week, Sparks quarterback Tyler Green didn’t attempt more than four passes in a game, and his team came out on top.
