The Railroaders improved to 2-1-2, 2-1-0 Friday night with a 2-1 road win at Elko.
The Indians dropped to 4-7, 1-2 in DI-A North play.
“The girls played great,” Sparks coach Art Hurtado said.
Angie Hurtado scored what proved to be the game-winner with an assist from Zahori Toledo in the 51st minute, two minutes after Elko tied the DI-A North meeting at 1-1.
Hurtado assisted Lizeth Garcia’s goal in the 25th minute which spotted the Railroaders 1-0 lead that held through the half.
Sparks keeper Evelyn Munoz finished with 11 saves on 12 shots.
The Railroaders will attempt to win their third-straight on Saturday at Spring Creek. Frist touch is at noon.
