The Raiders’ struggles continued on Thursday night with 25-22, 15-25, 21-25, 16-25 home loss to Reno.
Reed fell to 1-14, 1-9 in the DI North. The team’s single win came last week against Hug. Reno improved to 10-9, 5-5.
“I’m okay with walking away from this one,” Reed coach James Crane said. “They’re starting to come around, they’re starting to play as a team, that’s all I can ask for.”

The Raiders will travel to Spanish Springs on Tuesday for the always-anticipated crosstown rivalry match.
“We’re going to try and clean up the errors going into Spanish Springs,” Crane said.
Cougars sweep Panthers
Spanish Springs avoided a let down on Thursday night at North Valleys, sweeping the Panthers two days after picking up a huge home win over McQueen to take first place in the High Desert League.
The Cougars improved to 18-9, 8-3 with the 25-16, 25-10, 25-13 victory. The Panthers remained winless.
Emily Moore led the Cougs with 14 kills. Sami Szachara turned in seven.
Mackenzie O’Connell passed out 29 assists to go with two digs and two aces.
The Cougs host Reed on Tuesday.
