Taylor Anderson and Hannah Anderson both scored twice on Thursday night as the Reed girls soccer team rolled to a 6-2 non-league home win over Incline Village.
The Raiders scored three unanswered second-half goals to improve to 8-5-0, 7-5-0 in DI North play. The DIII Highlanders fell to 7-7-2 overall.
Taylor Anderson did all of her damage in the first half. She scored goals in the ninth and 18th minutes to spot the hosts an early 2-0 lead. Incline cut the gap in half in the 20th before Anderson assisted an Ashlee Saville goal two minutes later to put Reed back up by a pair of goals.
The Highlanders again snuck within a goal in the 36th to take a 3-2 deficit to the half. Then it was Hannah Anderson’s turn.
She scored goals in the 63rd and 68th minutes to stretch the Raiders’ lead to 5-2. Krista Bosch put the finishing touches on the win when she hit nylon in the 77th minute with an assist from Jackie Martinez.
McKayla Ford finished with four saves for Reed.
The Raiders return to DI North play Saturday morning at home against Hug. First touch is at 11 a.m.
