Reed won its second-straight on Monday with 25-20, 25-16, 25-18 road sweep of North Valleys.
The match was made up from the originally-scheduled date of Oct. 6 that was postponed due to a contagious virus that made its way through numerous schools in Northern Nevada.
With the win, Reed (3-16, 2-11) moved into sole possession of fourth place in the High Desert League—the league’s final playoff spot.
Jensen Paris led the Raiders with seven kills. Ashley Leighton got up 12 digs and Hannah Pinto served out three aces.
Reed will look to win its third-straight Tuesday night at winless Hug.
Railroaders win first league game of the year
Sparks won its first DI-A North contest of the season on Monday night with a 25-21, 25-19, 25-18 sweep of Fernley (3-14, 2-9).
The matchup was a makeup from last week.
Marisa Coleman continued to lead the Railroaders in the stat sheet with 10 kills, nine digs and a pair of aces.
Sparks will attempt to win its second-straight on Wednesday at Fallon.
