The Reed boys basketball team fell to 4-6, 1-2 in the DI North with Friday’s 73-41 home loss to Douglas.
The Tigers improved to 4-3 and remained a perfect 3-0 in DI North contests.
Lincoln Turner led the Raiders with 12 points, half of which came at the charity stripe. Matt Garcia had nine.
Michael Johnson led Douglas with 18.
The Tigers led 30-18 at the break and grew the lead 48-31 after three quarters before putting the contest away.
Reed hosts Lowry on Tuesday for a non-league contest at 6 p.m.
Johnson, Townsell-Williams lead Reed girls over Douglas
Taylor Johnson scored 26 points and Serene Townsell-Williams added 14 to lead the Reed girls basketball team to a 60-53 home win over Douglas on Friday night.
The Raiders improved to 2-2, 2-2 in the DI North. The Tigers fell to 1-6, 0-3.
Maddy Lowe led Douglas with 14.
Reed held a narrow 42-38 advantage after three quarters before hanging on in the fourth.
The Raiders play at Fernley on Dec. 28 for their first non-league game of the season.
