1. Bishop Manogue Miners (8-1)
The Miners upset the Huskies at home on Friday, 66-61, and thus they obviously make the jump to No. 1 for the first time this season. Bishop Manogue now has a very real chance of finishing league play 16-0.

2. Reno Huskies (14-2)
After starting the season 13-0, the Huskies have now lost two of their last three, albeit against quality competition. Although Friday’s loss to Bishop Manogue was upsetting for Reno fans, it’s no reason to panic.

3. McQueen Lancers (12-3)
The Lancers gave Bishop Manogue, the new No. 1, a scare last week before the wheels fell off in a 20-point loss.

4. Damonte Ranch Mustangs (10-3)
The Mustangs have won five straight, including a dominating 60-38 win at previously unbeaten North Valleys on Friday. It remains to be seen if Damonte can push Manogue, but the Mustangs certainly look like the second best team in the Sierra League.
Last Week: 5
5. North Valleys Panthers (9-1)
The legitimacy of North Valleys’ 9-0 start was put to the test on Friday night at home against Damonte Ranch. The Panthers lost that one convincingly so the jury remains out.
