1. Carson Senators (15-5, 10-0)
Last week was another one of validation for the Senators. Carson snuck by Galena at home and went to second-place Bishop Manogue on Friday and pulled out a controlling 11-point win. Carson now owns a three-game lead in the Sierra League with six games remaining.
Last Week: 1
2. Reno Huskies (13-5, 9-1)
After road wins at Hug and Reed, the Huskies have now won six-straight heading into tonight’s crucial home contest against McQueen. Reno can all but wrap up the High Desert League title with a win.
Last Week: 2
3. Bishop Manogue Miners (10-7, 7-3)
The Miners are likely now out of the Sierra League title chase after falling to Carson at home on Friday night but are still as scary as any team in the DI North.
Last Week: 3
4. Spanish Springs Cougars (11-7, 7-3)
The Cougars kept hopes of defending their HDL title alive with a home win over McQueen last Tuesday but they don’t control their own fate. If Reno beats McQueen tonight, attention will likely have to shift for second place.
Last Week: 5
5. McQueen Lancers (13-8, 7-3)
The Lancers missed an opportunity last Tuesday at Spanish Springs. They can still win the HDL title but they need to win out, including besting Reno twice. They go to Reno tonight.
Last Week: 4
Needs to get in the gym: Galena
