1. Carson Senators (19-5, 14-0)
With the Sierra League title wrapped up and nothing but pride to play for, Carson went on the road and grinded out a 43-41 win at red-hot Galena on Friday night. They call that a statement win.

3. Galena Grizzlies (14-10, 8-6)
The Grizzlies won four straight before giving the Senators their best game of the season on Friday. In narrow defeat, the young Galena team showed it’s not going to be an easy out come regional tournament time.

4. Reno Huskies (16-6, 12-2)
The eight-game winning streak came to a close last Tuesday in a loss at Spanish Springs. Reno is still in a good spot to win the High Desert League but it’s not going to have its best player, Mike Heydon, who dislocated his knee cap two weeks ago.
Last Week: 2
5. McQueen Lancers (16-9, 10-4)
The Lancers picked up a huge home win over Spanish Springs on Friday night, 60-59. With the win, McQueen moved into a tie with the Cougs for second place. If the Lancers best the short-handed Huskies at home on Friday, they will be the No. 2 seed.
