Reed went to defending regional champion Bishop Manogue’s yard on Tuesday and left with a 1-1 tie.
The Raiders moved to 1-0-1, 1-0-1.
Taylor Anderson assisted Hannah Anderson three minutes in to spot the guests an early 1-0 lead. The le
ad held through the half until two minutes into the second half.
Bekah Gonzalez took a free kick that was deflected back into play where Hannah Revigilio corralled it and put it home.
“A point was good after how we played in the middle 50 minutes of the game, but we missed three real chances to put it away,” Reed coach Jason Saville said. “Based on the overall game, a point was fair, but we would have liked to have snuck away with the win.”
The Raiders will attempt to remain unbeaten in 4A North play on Saturday at home against Carson at 12:30 p.m.
Cougars bested by Senators, 2-1
Spanish Springs dropped to 0-2 in 4A North play with a 2-1 loss at Caron on Tuesday night.
All the scoring came in the final 10 minutes.
Mallory Otto put Carson in front 1-0 in the 76th and Lauren Hudak doubled the distance six minutes later in stoppage time.
Kedal Kingery got Spanish Springs on the board at the end of stoppage time.
The Cougars host Douglas on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
