Spanish Springs remained unbeaten in 4A North play on Tuesday night with a home sweep of Damonte Ranch.
The Cougars improved to 19-3, 6-0 in the 4A North with the 25-23, 25-18, 25-18 victory, their sixth straight.
Emily Moore and Jordyn Boswell both had 11 kills. Mackenzie O’Connell passed out 34 assists.
The win sets up a big early-season contest on Wednesday at Bishop Manogue. The Miners are 11-2 overall, 5-0 in 4A North contests.
Raiders win first 4A North contest
New Reed volleyball coach Amy Morris picked up the first 4A North win over her tenure on Tuesday night.
Her Raiders swept Wooster on the road 25-17, 25-15, 25-19 to improve to 3-9, 1-4.
Reed will look to win back-to-back matches for the first time in 2016 on Thursday at Galena.
