Reed girls move into third, boys tie Hug

Raiders tie Hawks

Reed continues to battle despite being eliminated from the postseason.

After beating McQueen on Wednesday, the Raiders (3-10-2) played playoff-bound Hug (6-6-3) to a 1-1 draw at home on Saturday.

Dayton Farrow scored Reed’s goal.

The Raiders end their season on Monday at home against Spanish Springs.


Girls

Shut out of Hug moves Raiders into third

Reed leapfrogged Spanish Springs into third place in the High Desert League with a 4-0 home win over Hug on Saturday.

The Raiders (7-7-1) moved two points in front of the Cougars (6-7-2) with just one game to play. The Hawks dropped to 1-14-0.

Reed can stay in third place with a win or tie against Spanish Springs in Tuesday’s regular-season finale at home.
