Sparks ends regular season with win at Lowry
The Railroaders went to Lowry on Thursday afternoon for the final match of the regular season and left with a 5-0 win.
Sparks clinched the 3A North regular season title on Tuesday with a win over Incline, and concluded the regular season at 20-2-1, 13-2-1.
All of the Railroaders’ goals came before the half. Brandon Paz, Genaro Vasquez, Manuel Mena and Jesus Partida (twice) all found the net.
Sparks begins the 3A North regional tournament next Thursday, at Lowry, against the league’s No. 5 seed.

Railroaders tie Buckaroos
Sparks ended its season on Thursday afternoon with a 1-1 home tie against Lowry.
The tie ended a six-game skid. The Railroaders finished the season with a 6-12-4 record, 3-10-3 in the 3A North. The Buckaroos, who will also miss out on the postseason, ended at 5-9-4, 4-9-3.
