Spanish Springs led the High the High Desert League with six all-league selections.
Six was the second-highest total in the 4A North, behind Bishop Manogue’s seven. Four Raiders received postseason accolades.
The Cougars’ outside hitter Emily Moore and setter Mackenzie O’Connell were both voted to the first team by the league’s coaches. Outside hitter/middle blocker Ireland Bennett as well as liberos Kennedey Stroshine and Olivia Galletti were named to the second team. Outside hitter Jordan Boswell received honorable mention.
Spanish Springs won the High Desert League title before falling in the regional semifinals to Douglas, one win shy of a state berth.
For Reed, Emily Petrie was voted to the first team. Tori Baer landed on the second team. Both Sydney Parks and Olivia Shepard received honorable mention.
The Raiders finished fourth in the High Desert League this season.
