1. Bishop Manogue Miners (5-0, 2-0)
Everyone knows about what Katie Turner (the reigning 4A North Player of the Year) can do.
It’s been the emergence of Malia Holt that separates the Miners. Holt scored 23 in last Tuesday’s win over Reed and was the MVP of the Rocklin Tournament this weekend.

2. Reno Huskies (5-2, 2-0)
Can the Huskies threaten the Miners?
We’re going to find out this week. Reno hosts Bishop Manogue on Thursday.

3. Reed Raiders (2-2, 1-1)
The Raiders arguably have the most depth in the 4A North. However, they’re also one of the younger teams in the region.
Reed hung around at Manogue last Tuesday before the two-time defending regional champs pulled away in the third quarter. How much can this team mature over the course of the season?

4. McQueen Lancers (5-3, 2-0)
The Lancers lost two of three over the weekend against California schools. The two defeats were by a combined three points.

5. Spanish Springs Cougars (4-3, 2-0)
Spanish Springs has won three straight since losing three straight.
