1. Bishop Manogue Miners (8-2, 4-0)
The undefeated start to the season ended last week with losses in two of the first three in San Diego’s SoCal Holiday Prep Classic.
Bishop Manogue fell Bishop’s (14-1), the No. 47 team in all of California, and East Lake (9-5) of Chula Vista, Calif.

2. Reno Huskies (12-4, 3-1)
The Huskies played in an incredibly deep Las Vegas Tournament field last week and won four of their five games.
Mikayla Shults was named to the all-tournament team. She was just one of five players (16 total were selected) from the state of Nevada to receive the honor.

3. Reed Raiders (8-2, 3-1)
The Raiders won all four of their games last week to win the Varsity Elite Tournament.
Reed capped the run on Wednesday with a 51-40 win over Lowry, last year’s 3A North champ, at McQueen.

4. McQueen Lancers (10-4, 4-0)
McQueen also played in the Varsity Elite Tournament, winning three of its four games.
The Lancers’ lone loss came to San Leandro (San Leandro, Calif.) in the second game, 32-28. The Pirates are 5-8 this season.

5. Spanish Springs Cougars (10-4, 4-0)
The nine-game winning streak ended on Thursday with a 62-43 loss to Lawndale (Lawndale, Calif.) in Las Vegas as part of the Gator Winter Classic.
The Cougs won all three pool play games to get to the matchup with the Cardinals.
