1. Bishop Manogue Miners (13-2, 8-0)
The Miners beat Carson and Douglas last week by a combined score of 146-27.
A 16-0 run through regional play seems likely.

2. Reno Huskies (16-4, 7-1)
Reno quelled any thoughts that its reign atop the High Desert League was over on Friday.
The Huskies went up 40-5 on Reed in just 10 minutes of play and went on to roll, 66-37.

3. Reed Raiders (11-3, 6-2)
The Raiders were not ready to compete with the likes of the Huskies on Friday night.
They’re young. Games like Friday are going to happen.

4. Spanish Springs Cougars (13-5, 7-1)
Last Tuesday’s convincing home win over McQueen was one of the biggest for the program in years.
It establishes the Cougars as the team to beat in the HDL, behind Reno and Reed.

5. McQueen Lancers (12-6, 5-2)
McQueen was tied late in the third quarter at Spanish Springs last Tuesday. Then it gave up a game-deciding 19-2 run.
