Reed

Boys: The Raiders picked up a 2-1 home win over Carson last Wednesday but fell to Wooster 6-0 on Saturday to finish the week 1-1. Reed (5-3) continues the season at home against Douglas today before playing at Bishop Manogue Saturday.

Girls: Kathleen Hoppe, Kiki Finn, Chelsey Cox all scored a goal each and Kiarra Miller added two to give the Raiders their first win of the season last Tuesday, 5-2 over Carson. Reed (2-2) picked up another win on Saturday at Wooster, 2-0. Mikayla Farrow scored both goals for the Raiders in the win. The girls hosted Douglas yesterday and play at Bishop Manogue Saturday.

Spanish Springs

Boys: The Cougs (3-0) scored a pair of second half goals last Wednesday to edge Galena 3-2 at home. Tyler Hicks and Wilmer Hernandez got into the scoring column for the home squad. Hicks added another goal on Saturday and Christopher Lugo-Ramirez also scored as the Cougs picked up a 3-2 win at Carson. The boys play at Wooster today and host Douglas Saturday.

Girls: Spanish Springs scored in each half last Tuesday but couldn’t stop Galena and fell 5-2 at home to the Grizzlies. The Cougs (0-2-1) played its best game of the young season on Saturday when they played Carson to a 0-0 tie.

Sparks

Boys: The Sparks boys had its best week of the season last week and picked up a 4-2 win over South Tahoe and an 8-1 win at Lowry. The Railroaders (3-2-1, 3-0) played at Churchill County yesterday and will travel to North Valleys Friday.

Girls: The Sparks High girls soccer team is still seeking its first win of the season, and nearly picked it up last week. After falling 10-0 on the road to South Tahoe last Wednesday, the Railroaders fell in a tight 3-1 home game Friday against Lowry.
