Sparks mayor Ron Smith sits between a slew of canned goods that were donated as part of the annual ‘Can the Mayor’ food drive. The drive benefits the Food Bank of Northern Nevada and challenges City of Sparks employees and the public to participate by bringing in non-perishable food items to bins at Sparks City Hall, Sparks Police Department, Sparks Fire Department 1 and Parks and Recreation office.
