Tyra Clary struck out 13 batters and gave up just three hits and no runs over seven innings of work last Tuesday in a 2-0 win over Fernley.
Clary and Kylie Bradley each drove in a run while the Cougs pounded out seven hits, including a double by Savannag Martin and a triple by Kaylah House.

The Reed softball team had just one game last week, but they made the most of it. The Raiders pummeled Hug 17-0 on Thursday after plating nine runs in the first and eight in the second.
Trinity Cossette led the way with three hits and three RBIs while Jillian Kygar also drove in three runs and finished with a pair of hits.
Danyelle Leone and Ashlan Trevino combined to hold the Hawks hitless in the three inning game. Leone struck out five of the six batters she faced.
The Raiders (2-7, 1-3) will host a spring break tournament this week before jumping back into league play on April 3 against Galena.
