Sparks Boys Suffer First Loss in State Title Game

Sparks’ Omar Hernandez battles with a Western player for the ball during Saturday’s 3A boys state title soccer game at Wooster. The Warriors went on to defeat Sparks 2-1 to win the state championship, handing them their first loss of the season. The Railroaders had got into the title game after a 2-0 win over Equipo Academy in the state semifinals. They finished the season with an overal record of 25-1-1.
