Frances “Frankie” May Ross was born on September 8, 1941 in California and passed away August 5, 2023 (81 years).

Frankie grew up in Los Angeles and attended Westchester High School where she met her husband, Keith Ross. Married on September 2, 1961 (65 years together).
They had two children, Leslie and Daniel Ross, and two grandchildren, Sierra and Emily Ross.
Frankie greatly enjoyed spending time with her family. Daniel and her bonded over bike riding and playing the piano. Leslie and her would go shopping and attend social events like the Special Olympics. Frankie hosted countless birthday and holiday parties that created lifetime memories for everyone who attended.
Frankie and Keith traveled all over the world together; Alaska, Australia, Eastern Asia, the Rhine River, and Hawaii countless times. Venturing many places side by side.
When Frankie wasn’t traveling, she was always on the move. Cycling with her neighbor friends three days a week. Ladies swim day in the summer twice a week. Volunteering at Esther’s Closet on the occasional Friday. In between creating countless quilts for donation, garage sale hunting with Keith, book exchanging with friends, tending to her garden and spending so much quality time with her family and friends.
And let us not forget about Frankie’s beloved cats: Meagan, Little Guy, Tiger, Wally, Prince, and the kittens Meagan and Mandy. They brought her so much joy and comfort.
She will always remain in our hearts. Kind and supportive, loving and selfless, a beautiful person to the core.
Her memorial will be held at her church, Sparks Christian Fellowship, on August 24 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Church or Earths Angels.
