
On 5-14-2025 at 1836 hours, Officers were dispatched to Scheels Sporting Goods located at 1200 Scheels Drive for the report of a theft in progress. Scheels advised the female suspect ignored loss prevention officers when confronted and began to leave the store. The female suspect passed all points of sale and exited the store without paying for the items. Sparks Police Officers arrived on scene and detained the female suspect. She was identified as 58-year-old California resident Patrica Davis.
Scheels loss prevention reported a variety of handbags and wallets were taken by Davis. The total value of the items taken was $955.95. Scheels loss prevention reported an additional theft from earlier in the day by Davis at 1428 hours, the total value of those items taken was $2,040.00. The total value of items taken was $2,995.95. Davis was also a suspect in a theft from 4-21-2025 at Scheels Sporting Goods, in which Davis stole $173.82 worth of items.
Upon completion of the investigation, Davis was arrested and charged with the following offenses:
- Grand Larceny – $1200 value but less than $5000
- Petit Larceny
