Spanish Springs High School Freshman Aisena Allen’s work ethic and high-level skills were displayed last weekend at the Charity Choice Invitational in Tacoma, WA. Representing Flips USA Gymnastics in Sparks, NV, she hit 4 for 4 on her events and was Awarded Floor Champion as well as First All Around in the Junior A Division.
Aisena’s First All Around honors qualified her for the Nastia Liukin Cup, which takes place this Saturday March 7th in Henderson, NV. The Nastia Liukin Cup is a prestigious gymnastics competition held annually in the United States. It is named after Olympic Gymnast Nastia Liukin and features top-level 10 junior and senior women athletes competing for qualification spots.
In addition to her many athletic accomplishments, Aisena is an Honor Roll student and a passionate spokeswoman for Female Athletes in Sports. She has spoken at the Nevada State Legislative Office, using her voice to advocate for youth involvement in athletics and equal opportunities for girls in sports.
Her success highlights the power of sports in shaping strong, well-rounded young leaders, as research shows that student-athletes are more likely to succeed academically, graduate from high school, attend college, and develop key life skills like leadership, teamwork, and resilience.
Aisena’s achievements—both on and off the mat—make her a role model for youth across Northern Nevada and beyond. As she heads to compete at the Nastia Liukin Cup, the community is invited to support and celebrate her inspiring journey. You can follow her journey through her instagram at @Aisena._.2029
