The University of Nevada, Reno will hold five in-person ceremonies on the University Quad from Thursday through Saturday, May 14-16, to confer 3,041 degrees, including 2,291 bachelor’s degrees and 750 master’s and doctoral degrees.
- Five ceremonies: The University will offer five separate ceremonies to accommodate graduates and their families. Processional times are as follows:
- May 14
- 8:30 a.m. ceremony: School of Social Work and College of Engineering
- 3 p.m. ceremony: College of Science, Orvis School of Nursing and School of Medicine (Speech Pathology)
- May 15
- 8:30 a.m. ceremony: College of Liberal Arts and College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources
- 3 p.m. ceremony: Reynolds School of Journalism, College of Education & Human Development and School of Public Health
- May 16
- 8:30 a.m. ceremony: College of Business
- May 14
- Weather: In case of inclement weather, the ceremonies will be held in Lawlor Events Center. Updates will be available at unr.edu.
- Prohibited items: Tobacco and alcohol are prohibited on campus during the commencement ceremony. Balloons, noise makers and large signs are also not allowed at the ceremony.
- Media check-in location: Media must check in at the media table to receive their press passes and complete access to the event. The media table will be located on the northwest side of Morrill Hall.
- Media will be asked to clearly display the University media credentials throughout the ceremony, and professional attire is requested.

- Parking for media:
- Media driving branded vehicles can park in the Silver 2 parking lot east of Morrill Hall, which can be accessed by entering the University campus at the intersection of East Ninth Street and University Way.

- Livestream: For those not able to attend the ceremony, a livestream of the event will be available once the ceremony begins at unr.edu/live.

- One hundred and forty-three students are graduating from the Honors College.
- This year’s oldest graduate is 80 years old, and the youngest graduate is 19 years old.
- The average age of graduates is 25 years old.
