Sherman R. Frederick/Properly Subversive
Ayn Rand put it nicely when she said: “You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality.”
This is proving true for the feckless flittering of the Democratic Party in search of its one true love-of-the-summer.
The newest boyfriend of the American liberal comes in the form of Islamic men.
It’s the latest crush for a party that started advocating for the white working class (especially when it helped them suppress newly freed slaves), then moved to Hispanics and morphed that cause into “LatinX” and open borders, burned through the “Black Lives Matter” dalliance quicker than George Floyd snorted a line of coke, latched on to trans dudes, and now moved to Islamic men bent on creating ethnoreligious nanny states.
The latest example of this unhealthy behavior came when New York Gov. Kathy Hochul — who touts herself as a “feminist” — visited a Bronx Islamic Center, wearing a hijab to show subservience of her gender to Islamic men.
Apparently, it’s “My body, my choice” until you’re trying to impress a Muslim.
The fact that this occurred just days before Americans remember the 25th Anniversary of 9/11 demonstrates the extent to which Democrats will make goo-goo eyes in the presence of their new political boyfriend.
Democrats go through these phases. In Michigan today, the Democrat oligarchy snuggles up to Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, who maintains lifelong friendships with pals who hope they can one day behead all Jews in Israel (and a few in America, for good measure).
The star-struck alphabet people have already forgotten what happened in 2023, when an all-Muslim city council in Michigan ordered gay pride flags removed from city property.
LGBTQ+ Dems could not have been more heartbroken.
Their newest relationship with Islamofascism had turned against them, as most toxic relationships do. The Islamic moms and dads of the Michigan town put it bluntly:
“Why do you have to have the flag shown on government property to be represented? You’re already represented. We already know who you are.”
We have a feeling that the Democratic Party’s latest date to the midterm prom isn’t going to end well either.

GLORIOUS COLLEGE FOOTBALL
One of the most popular sports in the United States is, without doubt, college football, and the season is now upon us. Over 30 million fans scooch into stadiums each season, generating billions in annual revenue through ticket sales, media rights, and merchandising. There is nothing quite like the pageantry of the games themselves.
There are hundreds of regional and state rivalries — UNLV and UNR is one of them. You can argue about what the biggest games of the year are, but allow us to give you our picks:
1. Michigan vs. Ohio State — “The Game.” The national attention, the history … the hatred.
2. Alabama vs. Auburn — “The Iron Bowl”. The most intense in-state rivalry in America. All of Alabama takes sides in this one.
3. Army vs. Navy. If you want tradition, this is the game. The pageantry, military significance, and more than a century of history make it an all-eyes watch in American sports.
All this brings big salaries. Here are the highest-paid coaches this year:
- Kirby Smart, Georgia, $13.3 million
- Curt Cignetti, Indiana, $13.0 million
- Lane Kiffin, LSU, $13.0 million
- Ryan Day, Ohio State, $12.6 million
- Kalen DeBoer, Alabama, $12.5 million
- Lincoln Riley, USC, $11.5 million
- Dabo Swinney, Clemson, $11.4 million
- Steve Sarkisian, Texas, $11.1 million
- Mike Elko, Texas A&M, $10.8 million
- Dan Lanning, Oregon, $10.4 million
Have a great football season.
