Rates for NV Energy customers have decreased for the second consecutive quarter of the year, the utility announced. A pedestrian was killed early Monday morning in a hit-and-run accident on Victorian Avenue just east of Kietzke Lane, Sparks police reported. Sparks man gets life prison term for sexual assault
A Sparks man has been sentenced to life in prison for sexually assaulting a female patient at Saint Mary’s Hospital where he worked, Washoe County District Attorney Chris Hicks announced.
