Nick Van Patten caught a 52-yard touchdown pass from Sylis Sanchez to give Sparks a 27-7 lead over Truckee, two minutes into the second half, Friday night at home. The Railroaders' losing streak reached three games Monday night with a 2-0 defeat at Hug. With the loss, Sparks dropped to 3-4-2, 3-3-0.
