Most amazing political news last week occurred on Super Tuesday – or as Joe Biden likes to call it Super Thursday – when Biden seemed to rise from the dead and outmaneuver former Dem leader Bernie Sanders. Biden’s overall performance was probably best illustrated in the state of Massachusetts. Mass. was supposed to go to Elizabeth Warren, but she finished a dismal third. What … [Read more...]
No one to vote? Nevada Democrats puzzle over empty precinct
By Scott Sonner Associated Press RENO — What if a neighborhood precinct was voting in Nevada’s presidential caucuses and nobody came? Democrats in one county were left scratching their heads about the possibility they had stumbled onto a phantom precinct during the party’s third-in-the-nation presidential contest last week. Not only did no one cast a ballot during … [Read more...]
Federal bill would negate right-to-work laws
A month ago the U.S. House passed on a near party line vote of 224-194 a bill dubbed the Protecting the Right to Organize Act, or PRO Act. Among other things the bill would nullify state right-to-work laws, such as Nevada’s 66-year-old right-to-work law and those of 26 other states. Workers would be forced to pay union dues in order to keep their jobs. All three of Nevada’s … [Read more...]

Trump wins Dem debate
The Seven Democrat Dwarfs were on full display at their debate last week. The event turned out to be raucous, tumultuous, and chaotic. It is impossible for anyone to take them seriously as standard bearers for their … [Read more...]
Bang and Fizzle

What that vote did in essence is to bring out in public what Adam Schiff has been doing … [Read more...]
Swamp dwellers
Several of the most famous Swamp Dwellers in Washington reared their heads last week when an impeachment inquiry was launched by Speaker Pelosi. They would be Pelosi herself, Adam Schiff and Chuck Schumer. All three called for the impeachment of President Trump based on a Whistleblower complaint. That complaint was mostly “hear say” rather than firsthand knowledge by the … [Read more...]
Déjà vu all over again: Bernie turns 2020 into 1968
Bernie Sanders’ heart attack may have turned 2020 into 1968. His campaign just sent out an e stating “Bernie is in good health and is in good spirits,” adding “The fact of the matter is he’s coming out of this healthier and stronger.” God, I hope so. But questions about a candidate’s health can be fatal. Ten-term Congressman Walter Baring, D-Nev., kept his 1972 St. Mary’s … [Read more...]
