On March 29, an altercation with a man that began in Reno ended in a standoff and shootout near Greenbrae Drive and Rock Boulevard in Sparks resulted in three officers shot and the suspect dead. Construction begins on all-abilities playground at the Sparks Marina
Following the all-abilities playground that was installed at Pah Rah Park in 2017, the City of Sparks recently broke ground on another all-abilities playground at the Sparks Marina.
